Evolution Redefining Retirement™ is an organization that aims to help make the transition into retirement easier. A common thought of people who have retired or are going to retire is "What am I going to do in my retirement?" This website offers easy to access, relevant information about retirement, much of which is written by retirees, or industry experts to keep you informed in retirement.
Retirement can open many doors and provide new opportunities and experiences. Evolution Redefining Retirement offers free, online resources to individuals considering traveling to new places, sharing expertise by doing contract work, perusing a new occupation entirely or donating time free by volunteering. Retirees can also access selected support services through this website.

Evolution: Who we are and why this service
Long time Halton residents, who saw a need for a new service for retirees, created Evolution. We found that as people entered retirement or prepared to enter retirement, there was limited support for the transition process from full-time work to retirement. There was also a need to better inform people on the variety of opportunities available to retirees.
Organizational Objectives:
- Provide a valuable, online resource centre for all facets of retirees' daily lives
- Support through counselling services, an individual's transition into and within the stages of retirement
- Facilitate partnerships, volunteer and paid opportunities between organizations in need and retirees willing to provide time and support in the Halton community
- Provide retirees with discounted pricing of goods and services from businesses
- Provide seminars and workshops for retirees' professional/self development
- Empower retirees to become more active in the community as well as engage in activities that support their happiness and well being
- Keep retirees informed and up-to-date on relevant retirement issues
Initial Services:
We offer Resume critique services. If you have not had to send a resume recently or you are thinking about changing occupations, our services can offer you a better understanding of what employers are looking for and offer insight into how to highlight your top skills, assets and experience.
This process involves reviewing your resume and providing valuable feedback. We will answer any questions you have about resume format or job search techniques.
